I'm taking a deep breath today after a very long and busy marching band season. I'm the proud mom of one beautiful flute playing daughter {and a future trombone playing son} and a very proud BAND MAMA to 213 Marching Minutemen! If you live in Indiana, you know marching band is pretty big here and very competitive. We pretty much eat, breathe and sleep marching band music and drills from July thru October {this year November 3rd}. This past Saturday was the end of our season and our kids marched at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Class B finals. Although we placed 5th, it was our kids best march of the season. We were hoping for top 3, but they know they left IT all on the field and that's so important!
Here are a few pictures of our busy weekend...first up the Pep Rally performance last Thursday evening in 35* temps.

Congrats to all of the area bands ~ Concord, Goshen, Northridge, Fairfield, Northwood & Penn for making the State Finals. What a year!!!
