Inchie Friday ~ February Calendar

Happy Inchie Friday! I'm back from CHA and very happy that I put this project together before I left. I arrived home on Wednesday evening from a long day of travel & my brain was fried on Thursday, so no stamping for me!

Soooooooooooooo, today's project is the next installment of my Inchie Calendar. I used my Excel calendar template that I made and just updated the dates for February (sorry, I can't attach it here).

I am really loving how this calendar turned out and my little Inchie squres are perfect for this project!

Supplies Used: white Inchie squares (Inchie Arts); Excel calendar template (made by Kendra); Cardstock & Pattern Paper ~ SU; Ink ~ Palette & Copics; Stamps ~ Lockhart Stamp Company.

Fun stuff from CHA!

I spent Saturday through Wednesday in California at the Craft and Hobby Trade Association Show (CHA) and saw tons of fun new products that will be coming out in the next few months. Here's a little peek at what to expect ~

New from Maya Road ~ chipboard books and pieces.
My favorite is the gears for all my fun robots!

Fun felt, velvet and leather flowers & stick pins.

A new bingo stamp set.

Maya Road also has a ton of new chipboard books coming out.

One of my very favorite paper lines is My Mind's Eye.
I love the new line called Penny Lane

And another line called Bloom & Grow.

A VERY Yummy line called Juicy Summer from KI Memories. They will have several new lines of paper and coordinating products ~ this one is my favorite.

A peek at the fun papers that come with Juicy Summer from KI Memories.

The new EK Success punches were some of the smartest new products out there this year. They lock closed and stack! There will be 26 new borders (i think) and several single image punches. I LOVE THEM!

Here is a cool page using one of the border punches.

Doodlebug Designs is another favorite of mine - they will have 6 (or maybe 8) new lines coming out this spring. They always have such a pretty booth.

I just love this Tutti Fruitti collection!

A new looke for Crate Paper ~ totally adorable!

Hope you enjoyed all the product peeks!

Oriental Garden from OCL...

Today I'm going to show you a few projects I made with a pretty little set called Oriental Garden by Our Craft Lounge. This beautiful set will be released mid-February.

The paper I used on the top card is from Heidi Grace ~ {thank you Nancy for my Christmas present}. The pattern paper on the bottom card is by Making Memories.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more peeks at Our Craft Lounge & it's Inchie Friday too. Woohooo ~ 2 posts! It's BONUS DAY!!!

Good Morning from Californina!

Hello from CHA! It's a bit cool and cloudy here. BUT it's not below zero and it's green, so I'm happy! I arrived yesterday and have been having a blast meeting up with good friends. I was able to walk around the CHA floor a little bit yesterday during set up ~ which was a bit dangerous because of all the fork-lifts! The show opens today, so I'm looking forward to seeing lots of new products.

Last night I attended the Splitcoast Stampers Cupcake Reception ~ it was a blast. There were so many old friends to catch up with that I could have stayed and talked all night. I'll try and share some pictures while I'm here, but I have a new Netbook and I'm still figuring out how it works. I'm sitting in the bathroom typing because my roommate is still alseep :).

I'll check in when I have new product info to share! Happy Day!

Sweet Pink Valentine...

I'm sending you {hugs & kisses} today from California! Today is the start of the CHA trade show & I know it will be a busy one! I'll check in later with some CHA updates, if I have a chance.

Today's project is a pretty little card using the Many Hearts set by Hero Art & the pretty pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye ~ both available at i{heart}papers. Oh... and don't forget the lovely velvet ric-rac by May Arts. I LOVE that stuff!

Gettin' Ready for School...

These fun images are from two new sets by Lizzie Anne Designs. The first card uses both the School Days set and Things that Go! Meridith from Lizzie Anne, loved the school bus image so much but she didn't have room in the School Days set, so she made room in the other set. I'm so glad she kept the image!

The next card uses the cute little school girl form the School Days set. It's a classic Lizzie Anne look!

Actually, I'm ready to go this morning to CHA in California!! I'm so excited because I will be meeting a bunch of friends out there, having dinners with my design teams and meeting with some fun new companies! I have such a great job! Don't worry ~ I have blog post set up every day while I'm gone! Have a great week!

Supplies: Stamps ~ Lizzie Anne Designs (School Days, Things that Go); Cardstock ~ SU; Pattern Paper ~ Creative Imagination (lined paper) & KI Memories (school paper & lace paper); Ink ~ Palette & Copics; Ribbon ~ SU; Nestabilities.

Inchie Friday ~ Fishy Friday!

Welcome back to Inchie Friday! Today I have a fun page about some friends with fins that live in our house. My son's beautiful betta fish is named Mystery & my daughter's fish is named Red Hot. The page today was actually inspired by the little fish bowl stamp by Lockhart Stamp Company. I figured that since I take pictures of the dogs all the time, why not the fish. After all, I'm sure the kids will enjoy looking at pictures of their beloved fish years from now.

My Inchie technique this week is direct stamping onto the white Inchie square. I then colored the image with my Copic markers and then I used a clear glaze over the fishbowl to make it look like glass ~ such a fun way to add texture to the embellishment. You can really see it in the picture on the top of the page.

I just love all the hearts this time of year & these sweet stamp sets from Hero Arts are no exception. I used the Many Hearts set for the image & the sentiment is from Heart to Heart set ~ both from i{heart}papers!

Have a LOVELY day!

I know it's not really the time of year for school themed items; however, Lizzie Anne Designs came out with this fabulous new School Days set & I was thrilled to have it for my January assignments. I can't wait to use it in my scrapbook pages too ~ now be honest, you still have lots of school photos to scrapbook!

So my first project today is a fun Pencil cup for the teacher! I just LOVE this School paper from KI Memories ~ it's one of my very favorite companies & product lines.

And here is my second project for today ~ I LOVE this clipboard I found at Target. I tell ya, you can find almost anything from Target that would work into papercrafting!

Supplies Used: Stamps ~ Lizzie Anne Designs (School Days); Cardstock ~ SU; Pattern Paper ~ KI Memories; Ink ~ Palette, Copics & SU; Ribbon & punches ~ SU; Pencil container ~ Hobby Lobby; Clipboard ~ Target.
