Pretty, Pretty Princess...

Did you ever play that game? My daughter had it when she was 4 or 5 years old & loved it. I remember a few times walking into the room seeing my husband with a princess crown on his head ~ ahhhh....what we do for our kids ~ LOL!

Anyway, FINALLY I have a project using one of the new Sixlet sets by Lizzie Anne Designs. It's called A Little Love and the sweet heart paper is a new digital paper pack by the same name. HOW SWEET!

More with weddings...

I guess you could say that I'm on a bit of a wedding kick right now. I have a possible job coming up to do invitations, so I guess the subject has been on my mind lately. I used the adorable set called Bird and Groom by Our Craft Lounge for this trio of wedding sweetness.

So I'm sorry for the super short posts lately. I have piles and piles of work I need to get done before I leave next week for CHA. OH MY WORD ~ how do I get so much on my plate? Good thing I love my job! So there is my warning for you in case I miss a day in the upcoming weeks, it's because I'm completely swamped in work. You may even find me asleep under my craft table with bits of punched paper scraps in my hair and Stickles stuck to my fingers and nose!

Elegant Wedding Card

Several months ago, I saw a similar card on Heather Pulvirenti's blog. I thought it was gorgeous and the perfect layout for the Demask set by Lizzie Anne Designs. I also paired it up with this beautiful sentiment in the Say it in Script set.

Great New Product from Lizzie Anne...

Hey Peeps ~ I don't have any projects to show you yet, but wanted to let you know about a fun new product that Lizzie Anne Designs is releasing today called Sixlets. They are meant to be a step in between the Simply Singles stamps and the Little Bits stamp sets. Each Sixlets stamp set has (you guessed it) six stamps. Sixlets are also unique because they utilize the same packaging that we are currently using for our Monthly Mix stamp sets. They will be posting a PDF file of the cover design with each product that you are welcome to print out for FREE. The stamps come in a simple envelope, and if you would like to purchase a storage case you may do so for an extra $1.00. This saves money on packaging so that they can offer you these stamp sets at a great price... $11.99 per set (only $2 per stamp!).

Take a look over on the LAD Blog to see some beautiful projects with the new Sixlets, 2 new stamp sets and some fun new Valentine digital paper! Unfortuntely, I think the weather delayed my shipment of new goodies, but I'll be back with some new projects with many of these products in the next few days.

Paisley Flower & Something Fun!

Well here we are in the middle of the week already ~ how did that happen so fast? So another day, another project!

I actually made today's project a few months ago but I had so much other stuff to post, I kind of forgot about it. I used the pretty flower image in the Demask set by Lizzie Anne Designs. I just inked it with Versamark ink and then embossed it with clear powder ~ it really pops!

CHECK THIS OUT!

Now I want to share a link of something really cool! On the last day of school before Christmas break, it was the last day for the principal at my daughter's jr. high. His staff and students care about him a great deal and wanted to do something special for him. If you fast forward to the 3:00 mark, you'll see a really cool Flash Mob performed by the staff and students at Concord Jr. High in Elkhart, IN. Keep in mind that they had never practiced this all together ~ staff members (including the new pricipal) dressed up and sang. I actually saw this live and it was a blast! Here's the link ~ CJHS FLASH MOB

Today's Gonna Be A Good, Good Day!

Sketch Time ...

My sweet friend Michelle Wooderson posted this sketch challenge a few days ago, so I decided to play. I love how twenty cards made with the same sketch can look so different ~ that's all part of the fun after all. While I was using her sketch, I decided to make my own little embellishment for the card like Mish frequently does. Thanks for the inspiration sweetie!

Supplies Used: Stamps ~ Lizzie Anne Designs (January Monthly Mix - From the Heart & Fancy Flourishes); Cardstock, Button, Ribbon, Linen thread ~ PTI; Ink ~ Palette; Edge Punch ~ Martha Stewart; Pattern Paper ~ Bo Bunny (A Gift of Love).
