Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day #3: Light of the World

Where has the week gone?  It's Day #3 of the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks already and tomorrow is release day!  Today my projects feature the new stamp set called Light of the World and the new Fringe Border Die.

The beautiful new Light of the World stamp set comes with two lovely stained glass window images that are perfect for Easter... or any other special occasion.  I added a sentiment from the He Is Risen set & used the new Butterfly Swirls Embossing Folder on the background.

This card is actually a window card with a piece of clear plastic sheet between the cut out layers of the card front.  I used the Label Stacklet 5 die set to trim out the layers.  {links below}

Next up... I have some sweet Easter treats!

I was trying to think of an "out of the box" way to use the new Fringe Border Die and decided it might be fun to trim them with TE Patterned Paper (2 patterns from Build-A-Scene paper pack), and make them carrot tops!  Once they were trimmed with the die, I rounded the corners and then used a scoring tool to shape them.

The treat boxes are called Sour Cream Containers and I used papers from the Rainbow Bright Patterned Paper Pack.   The size of the patterned paper I used for both carrots are 5" x 6".  Just make sure you use strong adhesive when putting the carrots together so they don't pop apart.  Then decorate with the fringe stems, bunny dies (Little Bits Chocolate Bunny, Hippity Hop) and a sentiment.  {See links below}

Here's a close up of the second carrot.
