Dots of Color

Hi There Crafty Friends... Today there is a new Hambo Hoedown challenge and while I didn't actually play along on the challenge this week, I do have a fun Hambo card to share today.

I used the flower images from the Flower Quartet set (1427) along with the sentiment called Best Buds (1611).  I split up the sentiment and used the top part for the outside of the card and then used the bottom part for the inside.

For the dots of color, I found a fun little product from K&Company called SMASH Inkers.  They are these little stacked ink spots (3 per stick) and I bought them in the warm & cool colors.  When I bought them I thought they would be nice to use for small stamps, but then I had the idea to actually stamp the colors directly to the paper for a cool background.  Super fun way to add color without markers.

And here is the inside of my card...

Head on over to the Hambo Hoedown and see what fun we have planned today ~ I know you'll want to join in and win next week's image!
