Hi Peeps! I'm back today to share a brand new product coming soon from Crafter's Companion ~ STENCILS! Next week Sheena Douglass will be coming out with an entire collection of Stencils that coordinate perfectly with many of her stamp sets.
The stencil for this project is called Eiffel Tower and I added some stamped images to my piece to finish it off.
The stencil for this project is called Eiffel Tower and I added some stamped images to my piece to finish it off.
To begin, I took a piece of Kraft cardstock and stamped the crackle image from Sheena's Ageing Beautifully stamp set.
Next, to keep my cardstock and stencil in place, I used some EZ Release Tape to hold both down to my work surface.
Using the new eBrush System, I loaded the chisel tip of my Spectrum Noir EB5 marker & placed the setting to the 3rd brush setting to get the most ink output.
Then using the eBrush, I sprayed color all over the area {and yes, you will make a mess of your stencil; however, you can clean it up with Spectrum Noir Blender Solution.}
Carefully pick up the stencil, leaving one end taped, just to make sure you covered everything. If you leave one end taped down, you can easily lay the stencil back in place and spray more if needed.
Next, I used Antique Linen Distress Ink and rubbed the ink pad directly on the cardstock to create an aged look.
I ruffed up the edges, added a sentiment from the Sheena Douglass True Colors set & trimmed it with a die from the Die'sire Scallop Tags set. Then along the edge of the card, I added some leafy images from the Silhouette Garden stamp set.
The Eiffel Tower Stencil will be available for purchase on Wednesday, October 15th... along with the rest of the stencil collection.
Thanks for stopping by today!
