Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Flowers & More Flowers

Welcome back to day #2 of the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks!  Today on my blog, it's all about flowers because Spring is actually coming and it's time for the beautiful colors of nature to appear!

This beautiful Teacup Bouquet stamp set was previously released and now it has a matching Teacup Bouquet Die.  For the sentiment, I used Shade Tree Sentiments and stamped it on the Stitched Banner Stacklet.  I colored the floral image with Zig Clean Color Watercolor Brush Markers ~ Haze Blue, Shadow Mauve, Deep Violet, Light Violet, Violet, Yellow, Pale Dawn Gray, Olive Green, Mid Green.

For my second project today, I used the Full Bloom Cutting Plate and trimmed using watercolor paper.

After I trimmed the die, I colored each petal with Zig Clean Color Watercolor Brush Markers in Orange, Bright Yellow, and Yellow.  The sentiment is from the new Simply Stamped - Peonies set and once the card was put together, I added orange rhinestones to the center of the flower and lower leaves and added clear Stickles to each flower petal.

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Better Latte Than Never!

Hi Everyone!  I've been a busy bee getting ready for the Taylored Expressions April Release!  This first week each month is such fun and the products are always wonderful ~ this month is no exception!

My first card uses the new Stacked Coffee Mugs die along with the Some Like It Hot stamp set.  I love the open spots on the die that patterned paper can peek through.  I also used the Postage Stamp Edger Die as a border for the main image.

Supplies for Latte Card:

My next card is perfect for any sewer or quilter in our circle of friends and family.  Haha... get it?  Sewing circle?  LOL!

I used the new Quilters Cutting Plate along with several other new & formerly released products ~ Little Bits - Buttons; Little Bits - Needle & Thread; Cross Stitch Embossing Folder as well as the Stitched Circle Stacklet.  They all work beautifully together!

Project Life: Adventures in Barcelona ~ {Part 3}

Have you ever been somewhere and than later when you think about it you're like ~ "WOW, I was really there".  That was me... here at La Sagrada Familia.   Before we started planning our trip to Barcelona, I didn't know much about the city or where we should go.  It never occurred to me that I would even want to visit this amazing structure.  But I am so glad we had the opportunity to visit and learn about this amazing church and it's history.  It is like nothing I have have seen before & I'm sure there is nothing else like it in the world.  Below are some views from the outside of the church.  It's interesting because each side has a completely different look to it.

And here are some pictures I took inside ~ WOW!

If you ever go here... take the time to go up the elevator of one of the several spires.
You have to walk down the hundreds of steps, but it is well worth it!

and more views...

On our last evening in Barcelona, we went to a fantastic restaurant called La Fonda Del Port Olympic for Paella.  OH MY GOODNESS!  It's probably the most delicious meal I've ever eaten!

The next morning before we went to the cruise ship, we did some shopping around the city and walked around for a bit.  We loved our time here ~ it was very memorable.

Next stop... The Cruise Ship and I'll share some of those pages next week.

However, starting Monday, I'll have the awesome Taylored Expressions April Release... WOOHOOO!
