Autumn Wishes Blog Hop With Gina K Designs

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! This blog hop is for the new StampTV Kit, Autumn Wishes.  Did you know we have a special group that you can join if you are a member of StampTV?  It’s called StampTV Kit Addicts!  Tricia Traxler shares all kinds of good advice and inspiration in there too ~ check it out!

Today, Gina, along with the Cast and Crew, will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

For my Autumn Wishes card today, I have a tutorial using my Spectrum Aqua Markers.  Keep scrolling down to see how I made the leaves on my card.

Step 1: Select several fall shades from the Spectrum Aqua range of markers and several leaf images from the stamp set.  I selected 2 shades of markers per leaf.

Step 2: For the first leaf, I used Marigold and Chestnut markers.  Start with the lighter Marigold and using the brush tip, add color to the entire leaf.

Step 3: Add Chestnut to the outer edges and the stem of the leaf.

Step 4: Lightly spritz some water from a spray bottle on the leaf.  NOTE: Don't over spray - once is fine.  If you over spray, the stamped image won't stamped a defined image.

Step 5: Stamp the image on Spectrum Noir Watercolor Paper.

Step 6: Trim the stamped image with scissors.

Step 7: For the second leaf image, add Sunflower Spectrum Aqua marker to the entire image.

Step 8: Add Gold around the edges and down the middle of the leaf.

Step 9: Spritz with one spray of water and stamp on watercolor paper.

Step 10: For the third leaf, color the entire leaf with the Scarlet marker.

Step 11: Add Terracotta marker around the edges and down the middle.

Step 12: Spritz the stamp with water, stamp and trim with scissors.

Here is a close up of all 3 leaves... aren't they pretty?

Now lets HOP!  And don't forget to leave some love along the way because, as always, there will be some fabulous prizes!
