my spot for paper crafting fun

Well here ya go...the next installment of Hanna Stamps. Isn't she CUTE? Wait until you see the entire set ~ WOW! She goes on sale this Friday, October 26th! I'll have another peek tomorrow...
Well I have every Friday off work (and Monday too), so yesterday I was planning on stamping all day to relax and enjoy my day. I still enjoyed my day, but rather than stamp, I made a project for work. I just LOVE being able to bring my passion for crafting to work!
I had a few minutes today to play with my Lizzie Anne stamps. I made the card bases first and then decided what stamped images to attach. I usually don't work this way, but I wanted to see how fast I could get some simple cards made. I have to say that even though these aren't my favorite cards, they were pretty quick (less than 1 hour) & I do love the stamps. On occasion you just have to go outside your comfort zone and try something new. Sometimes you like it & sometimes you don't, but at least you tried.
Well another busy week is done, but I did manage to get this card made. I've had this Mod pattern paper (from Autumn Leaves) for a long time & finally cut into it. The flowers on Hanna's dress, hair and bags are rub-ons from the same paper line. I just love this color combination of Groovy Guava and Wild Wasabi from Stampin' Up! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!
We sure woke up to Fall this morning in Northern Indiana ~ Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Big difference to the gorgeous temps and sunshine we felt yesterday. Oh well, it is October 10th & it is long past time that fall got here. Here's a little treat I worked on this weekend. I love the little oval under Hanna {I CASE'd that idea from Amy Rysavy}. And that ribbon ~ I LOVE the ribbon!
The kids had yesterday off, so I'm going to have to remind myself all week what day it is. Boy, we sure get into routines, don't we? It's going to be a super busy day for me, but I wanted to share a few more Hanna Stamps cards that I made this weekend. This will be the last of the pink~ I am ready to move on to new colors. Fall colors start tomorrow. I hope you all have a bright and cheery day!
The winner of this round of blog candy is .... QC! Mmmmmm....i love those little licorice things covered with the little beady looking candy coating (highly technical term)....Can I have some of those please? ;)I love candy! Blog candy might be even tastier! :)Love you Kendra!

Between the stamp set release, the blog candy and stamping all day long ~ yesterday was a fun day for me! I started this card earlier in the week but couldn't find the time to finish it up until yesterday. I kept adding elements and finally told myself to STOP! I just can't seem to get enough of Hanna this week. I hope you have loads of fun with her too. Oh, and don't worry, Hanna will be back every month doing lots and lots of fun things. Supplies Used:Stamps ~ Hanna Stamps (But I need it...); Cardstock ~ Bazzill textrued; Pattern Paper & Chipboard Flowers ~ Sweetwater; Coloring Tools ~ Markers, Watercolor Wonder Crayons (SU), aquapainter; Accessories ~ brads (SU), Ric-Rac ~ Walmart, sewing machine; Corner Punch ~ SU.
