Project Life ~ The last few pages

And so I come to the end of this fun trip!  It really was amazing and I had so much fun putting this Project Life album together in the PL App.  I'm going to add a few more pages to the album to include the items we collected along the way... postcards, maps, ticket stubs, etc.   Here are the last few pages in our album of while we were on the ship.

Project Life ~ Rome {part 1}

Hi Friends!  I am continuing on with our trip from 2014 & today we are in Rome!  Our family loves to travel and Rome is one of the places we absolutely LOVE!  The rich history is laid out right before your eyes, the food is delicious and abundant, and the Italian culture is like none other.  We have been fortunate enough to have been to Rome on three different occasions, and it really is a place I can see us returning to again some day.  {Click on the pages below to read the journaling}

Project Life ~ A Day in Florence

I can't believe it has been two years since we took this trip ~ and about two years to the day that we were here in Florence!  It was such an incredible trip and we really enjoyed this beautiful city!!   We packed so much into this day... click on the pages to enlarge them to read my journaling.

Project Life App: A Beautiful Morning in Pisa

Hi Friends!  Our Europe adventures continue today with some pages from Pisa!  We spent a beautiful morning in the City of Pisa learning the history of this beautiful, and somewhat crooked, tower.  The sky was brilliant blue while we where there and the crowds were small during our visit.

 It was very interesting to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa from various angles.  Sometimes it looked completely straight & from other angles you thought it might tip over.

We enjoyed seeing this historic site... now it's off to Florence for the rest of the day!

Project Life App: A lovely day in Villefranche

I thought I'd share more of my Project Life App pages today from our 2014 trip to Europe.  I'm so happy to have this project done and that we are able to look through and enjoy our lovely photos.  The pages I'm sharing today were stops in Nice, Eze, Monaco, and Monte Carlo... yes, all in one day!

This was one of our favorite stops that day ~ Eze, France.

On the page below, I can't believe I was able to capture that picture on the top left.  We were on the bus on our way from Eze to Monaco & I snapped it just in time! 

Monte Carlo is an incredibly busy city and very beautiful ~ I can say I've been there.

Project Life: Visiting France & Our Anniversary Celebration!

Hi Friends!  Today I have a few more pages to share from our 2014 European Adventure & my first Project Life App book.  I am really enjoying looking through all of these pictures and pages... what amazing memories.

My first two pages are photos from our time in region of Provence.  Such a beautiful area of France right on the Mediterranean Sea.

We also went to this beautiful little sea side village called Cassis.  We had to take a little train up the hill to get to the village and there were not vehicles except scooters... and lots of boats.

That evening we celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary during the first formal night.  We had family photos taken, a beautiful diner and then Megan, Matt and Uncle Shawn surprised us by decorating our cabin.  It was a beautiful evening!

Project Life: Time to Cruise!

Hi Friends!  Wasn't the Taylored Expressions April Release a blast???  After giving you 4 full days of cards, I thought I'd share a few more of my Project Life App pages for my Moments ~ #onelittleword project.  

After spending a few days in London and then 3 days in Barcelona, it was time to board the beautiful cruise ship.  Our family loves cruising because we can really get away.  Having a very busy husband who works from a home office, cruising is truly the only way he can unplug... in fact, we all "unplug" for the week.  And, we all enjoy that!  The first page is actually the cover page for our album, but I did it last, so I thought I'd share it on this post.  I included a highlight picture from several of our stops.

As I stated above, we enjoy cruising and always go on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ships.  While on board, I usually purchase the photo package so that once we get home, I have tons of professional photos in both digital and printed format.  The digital photos are perfect to use with the Project Life App!  On the layout below is our Welcome Aboard photo!

Project Life: Adventures in Barcelona ~ {Part 3}

Have you ever been somewhere and than later when you think about it you're like ~ "WOW, I was really there".  That was me... here at La Sagrada Familia.   Before we started planning our trip to Barcelona, I didn't know much about the city or where we should go.  It never occurred to me that I would even want to visit this amazing structure.  But I am so glad we had the opportunity to visit and learn about this amazing church and it's history.  It is like nothing I have have seen before & I'm sure there is nothing else like it in the world.  Below are some views from the outside of the church.  It's interesting because each side has a completely different look to it.

And here are some pictures I took inside ~ WOW!

If you ever go here... take the time to go up the elevator of one of the several spires.

You have to walk down the hundreds of steps, but it is well worth it!

On our last evening in Barcelona, we went to a fantastic restaurant called La Fonda Del Port Olympic for Paella.  OH MY GOODNESS!  It's probably the most delicious meal I've ever eaten!

The next morning before we went to the cruise ship, we did some shopping around the city and walked around for a bit.  We loved our time here ~ it was very memorable.

Next stop... The Cruise Ship and I'll share some of those pages next week.  

However, starting Monday, I'll have the awesome Taylored Expressions April Release... WOOHOOO!

Project Life: Adventures in Barcelona {part 2}

Today I continue our adventures in Barcelona with a visit to the very colorful Park Guell which includes many amazing mosaic and buildings.  And the views from above are fantastic!!

One of my favorite things about Barcelona (and particularly this park) were all of the beautiful mosiacs.  I can't imagine how long that would have taken to construct.

Project Life: Adventures in Barcelona {part 1}

Hi Friends!  I'm back today with some of my Project Life App pages & my Moments ~ #onelittleword project.  These pictures are from our wonderful vacation a few years ago.  Last week I shared pages from our wonderful time in London and this week, we move on to Barcelona, Spain!  What a wonderful & very colorful city... not only with the people but the architecture.
