The beauty of winter...part 1

I've decided that if I ever get tired of papercrafting, I will take up photography as a hobby. Not that I'm that good, it's just that I really enjoy it.

This time of year is very hard on those of us that really don't enjoy winter. However, as much as I don't enjoy it, I do find it easy to look for the beauty God presents to us. I decided to go outside the other day (in the -20 degree temps) to take a some pictures around our home (yes Debbie, this is OUR neighborhood ~ LOL). So today, rather than papercrafting projects, I'm going to share some of my photographs.

"Each moment of the year has its own beauty." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things,

but just look what they do when they stick together." ~ Verna M. Kelly

"Look deep, deep into nature, and then

you will understand everything better." ~ Albert Einstein

"I've always regarded nature as the clothing of God." ~ Alan Havhamess

"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant." ~ Anne Bradstreet

You did a great job! Winter scenery is so beautiful! I too get sick of the cold though and want Mr Sunshine to peek out and warm up the earth!
