Taylored Epxressions August Sneak Peeks: Every Which Way & Little Bits Picnic Watermelon

Welcome to day #2 of the Taylored Expressions August Release sneak peeks and I can't wait to share my projects with you today!

The first set I am sharing today is called Every Which Way and I just love it!  It also has coordinating dies and there are so many fun images in this set!    I started with a Choice Kraft card base and added arrow images from the set along the right side of the card with Memento Toffee Crunch ink.  Then I took the arrow border from the Doodle Borders stamp set and put it along the left side of the card.   The paper is from Doodlebug and i just added a strip of it for some extra color.  After I stamped and colored the main image, I trimmed it out with the Every Which Way Dies and attached it to a mat from the Labels Stacklet 8 Die set that was embossed with the Spotted Circle Cutting Plate.  I added a sweet little tag from the Designer Mini Tags Die set and stamped the "Miss You" sentiment from the Many Mini Occasions set.

My next two projects are super fun... and YUMMY!  Adding to the Little Bits Collection, Taylor has added some super cute School and Picnic dies this month.  I decided to take the new Pencil Topper Die and use it as tags for my treats.  I purchased some watermelon gum, stacked all 6 packs and then tired some pretty May Arts watermelon colored ribbon around them.  Then I added trimmed out some pretty pink Swiss Dot cardstock with the Pencil Topper die and looped some ribbon through the slots.  I cut the pieces of the Little Bits Picnic Watermelon using various shades of pinks, green and black cardstock.   I added the sentiment using the new Mini Caps Alpha Dies.

Here's a close-up...

My all time favorite candy is Orange Slices ~ oh I just love them!  I have even resorted to hiding them from my family... shhhh... don't tell on me.  So I turned the Little Bits Picnic Watermelon Die into an orange slice by leaving off the seeds and changing the paper color ~ easy peasy!   I embossed the medium orange cardstock to add texture to the juicy orange and then added a little tag at the top with a sentiment from the Designer Mini Tags and Many Mini Occasions stamps.

For the sentiment, I again added the letters using the new Mini Caps Alpha Dies.

The bags are very cute but the card is a show stopper and so perfect for OWH cards! I love every little layer and bit of coloring. Thank you for sharing!
