New Years Eve ~ Happy Birthday!

Earlier this month I sat down and made some birthday cards which I hadn't done in almost a year!  Considering that I used to make an average of 10 cards per week for design teams prior to this year, that was a pretty big drop off for me. However, I still can't bring myself to buy cards at the store, so I sat down and created a few. 

For these two happy cards, I used some of the Taylored Expressions watercolor panels & colored them with my Zig Clean Color Waterbrush Markers.

Taylored Expressions Pretty Perfect Birthday Cards

I know it's Sunday and I usually don't post much on the weekends, but I wanted to share these pretty little package sized birthday cards I made today with the Taylored Expressions 3x4 Watercolor Panels - Birthday.

I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush to color these lovely pre-printed images.  Then I just backed them with cardstock and VOILA!  Easy Peasy Birthday Cards perfectly sized to add to a package or gift bag!  I just love the bright, cheery colors after so many dreary days of rain here in Indiana.

Hello Friends!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a good start to the week.   It was a 3-day weekend here and it was nice to enjoy a little time off.

Today I wanted to share a card I made over Christmas Break using one of the watercolor panels from Taylored Expressions.  I love these little panels because they are so fast and easy to watercolor with any waterbased markers.  I just sat and colored one evening while watching TV with the family and assembled the super simple card later when I had time.

To color the panel, I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers ~ these are a blast to use & so easy!!  I added some felt embellishments using the amazing 100% Wool Taylored Expressions Felt & added some texture to the background with the Paisley Embossing Folder.  The card only took about 10 minutes to put together.

Quick and Easy Watercolored Cards

More fun today with watercoloring these great Watercolor Panels from Taylored Expressions.   This one is from the Christmas Pack and this panel already had the sentiment printed on it.

I just watercolored it and then put it on a small note card then added a ribbon & button to dress it up.  Easy Peasy!

TE Watercoloring Christmas Cards

I've been having fun watercoloring these great Watercolor Panels from Taylored Expressions.   This one is from the Christmas Pack and I stamped the sentiment using the In & Out Christmas set.

This was super fast & easy to color with watercolor pens and then I trimmed it up and added a mat behind it.  The background is embossed with the Holly Embossing Folder.

November Thank You!

Hello Friends!  I hope your Thankgiving Weekend was fantastic and you were able to spend time with friends and family.  We had a nice quiet weekend just the four of us with my daughter home from college.  It was great having her home... even if she had to do homework the entire time.  Thankfully during Christmas break she will have three weeks off with no homework!

As we close out the month of November being grateful, I wanted to share this quick card I made using the Taylored Expressions Watercolor Panels.  This panel is from the Keep in Touch set & I added the sentiment from the In & Out Thanks.  I colored the panel with Watercolor Pens... I just LOVE them!!!  {links below}

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day #2: Keep in Touch

Here we are ... Day #2 of the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks for the November Release.  I have a bunch of favorite products and projects from this release & the cards I'm sharing today are right up at the top of the list!  I used the Keep In Touch Watercolor Panels for each of my cards today and colored each with my watercolor markers.

I love the bright colors on this clean and simple card.

For my next card, I used beautiful jeweled tone watercolors.

I added a sentiment from the C'mon Get Happy stamp set and stamped it on the Stitched Banner die set.  The fun background texture is from the new On the Spot Embossing Folder.

I love this bright and happy close up on this Hugs and Kisses sentiment.

In addition to coloring the flowers in bright happy colors, I added patterned paper from the Build-A-Scene 6x6 Patterned Paper Pack and a red border from the Small Scallop Border die.

My last card for today...

I love this sentiment from the Sky High Sentiments stamp set and trimmed it with a die from the Build-A-Tag 1 die set.   The background is from the new Braided Embossing Folder and then I added some watercolor markers and water to bring out the texture.
