Hi Friends! Welcome to day #2 of the Taylored Expressions sneak peeks! I love bright colors and this card was so fun to make using the new heart image from the Heart of Hearts stamp set and watercolor pens.
I stamped the image in white pigment ink, heat embossed it with white embossing powder and then colored each heart in a different watercolor pen. Since the heart is such a pretty focal point, I wanted to keep the rest of the card very simple. I love how it turned out.
For my second card, I used the pretty new stamp & die set called Simply Stamped Roses. This is just one of the pretty rose images included in the set. There are 3 layers of ink color stamped on the rose and 2 layers on the leaves.
The Frame in Frame Cutting Plate sets off the image and patterned paper perfectly. Then I used one of the Stitched Banner Dies (cutting off and covering up the banner edge) for the stamped sentiment.
