Sparkly Fluff...IT'S HERE!!!

It's here, it's here, it's here! Yes, at long last ~ Sparkly Fluff is for sale at Our Craft Lounge and I love this stuff! It comes in 18 gorgeous colors and they are so easy to use in just a few easy steps.

So you ask, HOW DO YOU USE THIS STUFF? Easy Peasy! Step 1) Stamp & color your image; Step 2) Apply glue to the areas you want to apply Sparkly Fluff; and 3) Sprinkle on the Sparkly Fluff & shake off excess. VOILA! Just look at the fun texture you get!

Cute Little Monster...

I had a few minutes to play with more of my new stamps from My Cute Stamps. This cute set is called Eeek! A Monster! ~ which I find that name so funny! I had my project all done and then noticed on the My Cute Stamps blog {Creating Cupcakes} that Holly is running a drawing ~ talk about timing!

I'm not sure if you can see it or not, but I paper pieced the green on the monster with a textured piece of cardstock that I ran through my Cuttlebug ~ just a fun little technique!

Fun Pattern Paper...

Had a bit of fun yesterday making this page with the new pattern paper from My Minds Eye called Penny Lane. LOVE IT!!! I saw the entire line at CHA in January and it's all gorgeous & Kate of at i{heart}paper carries a ton of it ~ wooohooo!

Let me tell you, this was one EASY PEASY scrapbook page! The pattern paper already comes with the pinked edge and has the adorable tree and owls printed on it. I just put a piece of textured cardstock behind the page, and then added some buttons to the tree, a chipboard title and stamped a swirl under the picture then called it DONE! You seriously can't get easier than that ~ in fact, it took me longer to figure out what letters to use than it did to actually put the whole page together.

Inchie Friday ~ Spring Photo Clip

Happy Good Friday ~ It's been such a crazy week that I am constantly trying to catch up! Each day I've been frantically getting projects done for the next day's post. I really don't like that feeling either. But...next week the kids will be back at school and I'll get back into my groove.

Today's project is a fun little photo clip with a mini scrapbook page. I took this pretty picture last spring just as my tulips were in full bloom ~ {I'm still waiting for them to pop up this year}. I love close-up shots of flowers because it's a great way to capture all of God's magnificant creations.

I used the white Inchie squares from Inchie Arts and stamped the tulips in black pigment ink then embossed with clear embossing powder. I love the texture and depth embossing adds to the Inchie square. The other added bonus is that they are super easy to color because the image is raised & the ink won't bleed.

While the kids were busy playing yesterday, I decided to go play too. I pulled out some of my new stamps from My Cute Stamps, that hadn't seen ink yet. This is a new set called Circus Animals & it has the CUTEST animals in it. I'm trying to figure out if these are baby cards or kids birthday cards. Either way, super fun!

I love paper piecing and all of the images from My Cute Stamps are perfect for this technique because the lines are nice and thick!

New Lizzie Anne Sketch Challenge...

Inchie Friday ~ Easter Mini Book

Today's Inchie Arts project is a mini Easter photo mini-book. I used the Mini Accordion Book Kit from Inchie Arts (product information is below). This cute little photo book was super fast and easy to put together. I found four photos that I took during Easter and Spring last year & actually printed them all on one 4"x6" sheet. Then added them to every other page of the little accordian book. On the opposite sides, are four spring images stamped in white pigment ink and embossed right on the Inchie squares. I love embossing on these Inchie Squares ~ it works perfectly.

I used the Mini Accordion Book Kit from Inchie Arts. Included in this book kit: the supplies to create 3 pre-folded accordion books. 2 in khaki; each with 16 panels and 1 in black with 32 panels. Each panel measures 1 5/8” wide X 2” tall. There are also 6 pre-cut covers included. Create your own inchie alphabet or use images to tell a story or create a visual narrative. Decorate the cover boards with papers, beads, ribbons and other mini embellishments. (Note: The description of the Mini Accordion Book Kit was taken directly from the Inchie Arts Product discription.)

Here I used the little yellow transparency to show which section of the stamp image I wanted to use on my Inchie square.

I love paper piecing! Have you tried it yet? It's so easy but gives such a great punch of color! You just stamp your image on cardstock & then on pattern paper, cut out the portion you want from the pattern paper, and then adhere it to the image you stamped on the cardstock ~ EASY PEASY!

I decided to make another little chipboard purse/basket, but this time using my favorite new paper from My Mind's Eye called Bloom & Grow (which is available at i{heart}papers). I also got out my March Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Co (I can't get enough of it).

I got started with this great Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Company, and now I just can't stop! I have had this card base made for months & just didn't have the right image to put on it. When I looked at this fun flower from the March kit on the card, I thought it worked well.
