TE: Pinspired by... Jen!

This month, the team is starting something new at Taylored Expressions.  We are picking some of our favorite TE Pins and recreating them into a new project.  Here's what I came up with...

I used the Leafy Branch & Friendship Blooms Dies for the flowers using some of the beautiful TE 100% Wool Felt (Carrot, Butter & Split Pea).  For the cardstock, I used the new Premium TE Cardstock in Pumpkin and Candy Corn and embossed the Candy Corn with the TE Lots of Dots Embossing Folder.  {links below}  The sweet little "thanks" is one of the free dies TE sends out with orders... isn't it sweet?

TE: Simple Birthday!

New Brambly Hedge from Crafter's Companion

Today Crafter's Companion is releasing a new collection from the Brambly Hedge range and the set I am using today is called The Secret Staircase and I trimmed it with the Die'sire Die - Cameo Stamping Frame.   For the front of my card, stamped the background with the Stamp-It Austrailia - Overlapped Text stamp and then embossed the Decorative Heart Embossalicious Folder and did a direct to paper with the Distress Ink (Antique Linen) ink pad.

For the inside of my card, I used the Antique Key Embossalicious folder and then colored a key from the Secret Staircase set.

Birthday Treats for TE!

Continuing with the birthday celebration for Taylored Expressions, I have a fun birthday card today highlighting the Build-A-Treat Tops & Bottoms Dies and the fun TE Wool Felt.

Die'sire Christmas Nativity

CC: Art -Kure Scenic Images

Hi Friends!  I wanted to share a card I made using the new stamps from Crafter's Companion in the Art-Kure Collection that released last week.  This stamp is the Half Dome image and I colored it with my Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils ~ 57, 59, 60, 74, 75, 96, 100, 101, 103, 104, 114, 117.

TE: The Birthday Celebration Continues!

Today I am continuing the birthday celebration for Taylored Expressions with a fun little birthday gift or treat bag.  How fun would this be to use for party favors for a little boy party?  

I used the Far Out Stamp set for the image and sentiments along with the matching Robots Die set for my gift bag.  Using the new TE Cardstock (color: Cookie Monster), I trimmed out the Sack-It Die twice, embossed the front of one of them with the Zig Zag Embossing folder, and then attached them with super strong adhesive.   

For some final touches, I stamped out the sentiments on TE Cherry Pop Cardstock, and then used the Simple Tabs and Label It dies to trim them.  I also added a star border in TE Granny Smith Green to each side of the gift bag using Reach for the Stars Border.  I then added the handle to the bag and attached it with a red brad.  Easy Peasy!
