That's actually the name of the set ~ Oh Christmas Tree by Lizzie Anne Designs. The first sample has some liquid accents on the light bulbs to make them pop up just a bit. You might be able to see it if you click on the picture. I love how the pattern paper matches the tree so well.
My next sample is filled with little gems. Yes ~ I glued gems to each little dot on the tree! I still can't believe I did that ~ LOL!

Something for Christmas...
I've been making Christmas cards for months, but haven't posted that many because it felt way to early. It still does, but I guess we really do need to start thinking about our holiday cards, so I am going to start posting my ideas.
My first project is from the Lizzie Anne Designs set called Love and Joy Labels.
Project #2 is from the Oh Christmas Tree set ~ love all the pretty bling on this card.

Sunday's Fun
Woohooo ~ It's Sunday! I'm looking forward to a quiet day since this week was CRAZY and yesterday was spent in the gym ALL DAY watching volleyball. I wouldn't have it any other way, but it still makes you very tired.
Both projects today are from the Lizzie Anne Designs set and digital paper pack called The Great Outdoors. I changed the color of the paper on the card below to tones of pink using Photoshop Elements.

Day #5 of Growing in Unity
Well it's here ~ Day #5! I can't believe the week is over {insert sad face}. I had big plans for some fun projects today; however, the hours just ran out on me and I didn't have time to do more.
On both projects today, I used the August Store Kit of the Month ~ 100% Happy. I love this little circle flower image & it's perfect for my favorite technique ~ paper piecing. I also used this great pattern paper from My Minds Eye.
My next project uses the tea pot image from the same fun set 100% Happy. I also used the fantastic crochet trim by May Arts.

Growing in Unity Day 4 ~ Butterfly Kisses
Day #4 of Growing in Unity is here and today it's all about butterflies and the Bevy of Butterflies set. There are a bunch of them in a different sizes and patterns. I also used some gorgeous pattern paper by My Minds Eye from the Maggie May collection & lots of pretty gems to make everything sparkle!
My next project also uses the Bevy of Butterflies set along with the Tiny Dancer pattern paper by My Minds Eye. In addition, I also played along with this week's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast. Check out the cute little antenna on the butterflies & some gorgeous pearl gems ~ too fun!

Growing in Unity Day 3 ~ Back to Nature
Here we are on Day 3 of my Growing in Unity week. When I think of Unity images, one of the first things I think of are trees and natural images. Unity has GREAT trees & one of my favorite things to do with them is to paper piece with subtle pattern papers as I've done on my first project for today. I took several coordinating papers from the My Minds Eye Freebird Collection & stamped the tree images from the Tiny Trinity set . Then I cut them out and attached them to the tree that I had stamped on the base. It's an easy, but sometimes time consuming task depending on the piece you are cutting. I love how this first card turned out!
My next project also uses the Tiny Trinity set along with a sentiment from the Hodge Podge of Happiness kit. I also used some gorgeous Moss Green Corduroy Ribbon for some great texture.

My last card is actually a layout I've done before, but I like it & wanted to put a little bit different spin on it. I used the Gratitude = Joy set & then added a bit of texture with a Quickuts Diamond embossing plate.

Growing in Unity Day 2 ~ Back to School
Here are with Day #2 of my Growing in Unity week and the theme today is Back to School! For all three projects, I used the School Rock Star set. Such great images that are totally made for scrapbooking all those school releated photos & projects.
The more I look at this page, the more I love it! Not only because of the pictures, but I find all the kraft elements fun and interesting. I used the pencil border stamp at the top of the page and just colored in the pencil tip and the eraser. Then I used the ABC stamp to border the bottom edge. I used my watermark ink pad to add some of the supporting images on the kraft background. I love the fun ABC twill from May Arts too ~ a little bit of texture is always a great touch.
TIP: The journaling card originally said "Report Card" at the top, but that didn't apply to my page. Therefore, I covered up the "Report Card" portion of the stamp with Scotch tape, inked my stamp, removed the tape & then stamped the image on my kraft paper. I just cut it out and replaced the piece over the original. I used my Hero Arts little letter stamps to add the new title of the journaling block and to fill in the details for both kids.
My next two projects were designed to coordinate with the scrapbook page above where I added the twill and wood buttons. The notebook has an embossed label to make it pop off the print. I couldn't resist using the Apple image from the Hodge Podge of Happiness set once again ~ it's a school notebook after all! The card uses the same images that I used on my page, lots of scallops and that fun twill again.
Supplies Used: Stamps ~ Unity Stamp Co. (School Rock Star, Hodge Podge of Happiness); Alphabet stamps ~ Hero Arts; Cardstock ~ Olive, Kraft; Pattern Paper ~ Creative Imaginations; Ink ~ Palette, VersaMark, Copic Markers, atyou Spica glitter pen (brown); Twill ~ May Arts; Buttons & linen thread ~ PTI; Sticker Letters ~ American Crafts; Chipboard letters; Nestabilities ~ Labels 1, Rectangle scallop.

Growing in Unity...
Woohooo! It's my turn this week for Growing In Unity & I'm so excited because I've been waiting for months. I'm also excited because i{heart}papers just started stocking a bunch of the Unity sets, so now I can use them for design team projects ~ gotta LOVE that!
Today, I have 3 projects using the Hodge Podge of Happiness set! The images of this set were all selected by Unity customers & I've wanted it ever since it was released, so I was a happy girl when Kate at i{heart}papers ordered it.
On this first card, I wish you could see how the flowers POP. I added Glossy Accents to the center of each and they really look cool IRL. For the background, I used an old retired stamp I had in my drawer ~ it just needed something retro behind the vase of flowers. You could get the same look with another rectangle solid stamp.
Supplies from i{heart}papers: Stamps ~ Unity Stamp Co (Hodge Podge of Happiness set); Nestabilities ~ Labels 8; Ink ~ Palette; Glossy Accents by Ranger.

My next card features the same Unity set. I love this image & it's perfect with this Heidi Grace paper. I added some Breezy Blue Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge to the sweet little bird & the matching flower sticker to the sentiment.

My final project today features the adorable apple image form the Hodge Podge of Happiness set. I love this image that was drawn by Joslyn Neilson. I used some cool lace paper from KI Memories and stitched on a scalloped edge to the card for a bit of extra interest. I then used embossing folder on the label to give it a little punch.

i{heart}paper supply challenge...
A big Tuesday Hello Peeps! Today it's time for a challenge at i{heart}papers! Kate sent each of us a sheet of 12x12 large print pattern paper and some hot pink suade ribbon. The challenge was to make a card with these materials. Sometimes large prints can cause a delimma for card makers, but I think the trick is to just use pieces of it. So chop it up girls ~ it's OK ~ REALLY!!
So this is what I did with my supplies ~ wanna see what the other girls did?
