WoW ~ I almost forgot I had this card. I made it a few weeks ago but forgot to post it. Not sure it's my favorite card, but it's a little different and it was fun to make. The images and sentiment are both from the Dream Big Monthly Mix (May '10) from Lizzie Anne Designs.

Tweet Thang!

Isn't this TWEET! I just love this new set called Tweet Thang by Our Craft Lounge. Lots of fun images and sentiments you can build into phrases. Too cute! This is a card I came up with for a possible class at a local scrapbook store ~ we'll see if it happens.

The End of the School Year...

The end of the school year is coming quick and I always seem to need thank you cards for all the teachers. Here's one I made with my new Lizzie Anne Designs Monthly Mix called Dream Big. I just love the notebook paper stamp that was in this month's mix!

I paired up the notebook paper with images from the School Days stamp set and sentiments from Sketched Sentiments.

It's a WHALE of a good day!

Just playing with a few fun techniques last night ~ paper piecing and using the reverse scallops as waves. Just a fun little card for a child's birthday. The image and sentiment are both from the new Merry Marine set by Lizzie Anne Designs. I also added some glassy accents to the waves and water spout to give it a wet look.

Pretty Glittery Petals

Happy Cinco de Mayo ~ not that it has anything to do with my post, but I just thought I'd add the greeting for the day.

Just a quick post to share with you today with a few more projects using the Pretty Petals set. This is one of my favorites from this release by Our Craft Lounge. I've actually made a bunch of these for store samples. Not sure if you can see the details on them, but they are all blinged up with different colors of Crafty Sparkles.

You Made My Day

Ahhh....another quiet day at home. I just love that. Monday's are always busy with phone calls and emails and I'm never very creative that day. So Tuesday is a good day to hide out in my creative space and have some fun!

Here is what I came up with last week. A fun little pink and black card with polka-dotted flutterbys. This image came from the Lizzie Anne Monthly Mix for May.


And I had to create something on the inside.

ACK! I'm so excited about my project today!!!! I needed a gift holder for my daughter's BFF. I decided to use the new Flower Power set by Our Craft Lounge because my daughter just adores peace signs and flowers right now. I used this fabulous pattern paper & matching border from Reminisce called the Unwritten collection ~ it's so fun!


Megan bought her friend a necklace and an iTunes gift card. Both fit nicely together inside the criss-cross pocket and I added some ribbon to the top of the necklace card so it could easily be pulled out of the pocket.

OCL Blog Hop Day!

Today is the day!!!! Over the last 2 days, you've seen all the sets on the OCL Blog and lots of gorgeous samples from our Design Team girls. What would be a better way to end the week than with a blog hop AND some blog candy? Sounds pretty good to me!

But first I'll show you the projects I've been working on for today. I used the new School Notes set on this Sketch challenge card and matching lunch sack. I love school related projects ~ but you probably guessed that by now!

Here's a close up of the card ~ and I used this week's OCL sketch challenge while I was at it. In addition to the new set, I also used Say it Big for the sentiment.

And here is a picture of the entire School Notes set ~ which is the set I'm giving away as blog candy.
