Just Skating By...

Happy Monday! Well... I took a little break yesterday from my blog. We were out of town on Saturday until 3am (Sunday morning) and I was completely exhausted. So today I'm back with TWO projects from the new stamp set called Just Skating By by Chicken Girl Designs. These stamps will be available only from i{heart}papers on October 16th.

The second card is also from the Just Skating By set, but uses the sweet little Christmas tree from the set. I also added a bunch of red glitter to the decorations and some pretty red gems to set off the sentiment.

Supplies from i{heart}papers: Stamps ~ Chicken Girl Designs (Just Skating By); Ink ~ Palette, atyou Spica glitter pens; gems ~ Hero Arts; Nestabilities; Glossy Accents.

Do you Text?

Well I do ~ now! I just got a new cell phone with a full keyboard and EMAIL!!! Woohooo ~ I LOVE IT! Anyway, today we are on a day trip with some friends & we're taking the RV to Cedar Point. While we are there, we're going to celebrate the 13th birthday of Megan's friend Gabby. She just got a cell phone, so I thought I'd give her some money so she could buy a few ringtones or games.

I made my project today with the Go Green set by My Cute Stamps and the Dancing Girl pattern paper by Fancy Pants. It's a pocket card with a small money envelope and tag inside the pocket.

I stamped a bunch of texting acronyms on the envelope since Gabby and Megan can't seem to get enough of it right now. This set is PERFECT for teenage girls!

Have a great weekend & I'll CUL8R ~ LOL!

Supplies Used: Stamps ~ My Cute Stamps (Go Green); Cardstock ~ Eggplant; Pattern Paper ~ Fancy Pants (Dancing Girl); Ink ~ Palette, Copics, atyou Spica glitter pens; Ribbon ~ PTI.

Lizzie Anne Peeks ~ Day #1!

Happy Sneak Peek Day ~ Woohoo! Yes, this week there is a new release from Lizzie Anne Designs & today I have two new sets to show you.

The first set is called Way Up North ~ it's adorable! Head on over to the LAD blog for a picture of the full set and a list of designers who are showing peeks. For the embellishment, I used a Heidi Swapp clear snowflake and painted it with white paint and then dipped it in glitter. I backed it with a coordinating button and then attached it with a white brad.

The next set is a great set for any type of card and it's called Fancy Flourishes. There are all different sizes of flourishes inside this great set. (Note: the sentiment I used on this card is from the Holiday Script set.) For the embellishment, I took some flower brads from Making Memories and removed the silver brad from the flower & added a pearl to the top.

Come on back tomorrow for another peek...

Store Display Samples...

I've been so busy making samples for lots of different lines that I haven't had time to show these fun Our Craft Lounge samples I made for store display boards.

My first sample uses the Parka Penguin & Snowy Sayings sets by Our Craft Lounge. I also added some White Sugar Sparkly Fluff on the penguins hood and hat.

My next sample uses Gingerbread Fun along with White Sugar Sparkly Fluff for the icing and red glitter on the bow tie.

It's a PINK Christmas...

Not a white Christmas ~ PINK! I love non-traditional Christmas colors and take every opportunity to make things with pinks and blues at for the holidays. Last year, My Minds Eye came out with some gorgeous paper called Be Merry (used below) and I still have some scraps left ~ I'm using every single bit of it too!

My first project is a trio of Christmas tags using the Love and Joy Labels set by Lizzie Anne Designs.

My second project also uses this same set, but this time I used some little tags as an accent on the card. I also blinged it up with some little pink gems on both the tree and the snowman ~ I love gems!

More Christmas Ideas...

I think I mentioned a few days ago that I've been making a ton of Christmas stuff ~ so here are two more projects using stamps from Lizzie Anne Designs.

My first project uses the Oh Christmas Tree set. In addition to the main image, I used the same stamp for the background paper. When I stamped the main image however, I stamped it in red pigment ink and then sprinkled flock on it ~ so it's all fuzzy! It looks pretty cool in real life.

My next card is a simple little gift enclosure card using the Love & Joy Labels set. I added some clear gems to make the flowers bird pop a bit.

My Cute Stamps!

Hello Peeps! Today it is my pleasure to announce that I'll be a guest designer for My Cute Stamps for the month of October. If you haven't checked them out ~ you just gotta go and do it because they are ... well... CUTE!

My project today uses the super fantastic set called Go Green! Several of the images called out to be the first to see ink, but the tree won out. I did a little bit of paper piecing on the leaves & the heart ~ currently my favorite technique ~ LOL!

That's it for today, but you'll be seeing more fun projects with My Cute Stamps during the month.

Supplies: Stamps ~ My Cute Stamps (Go Green); Cardstock & Buttons ~ PTI; Pattern Paper ~ My Minds Eye; Ink ~ Palette, Copics; Nestabilities; Ribbon ~ Green Twill.

Oh Christmas Tree...

That's actually the name of the set ~ Oh Christmas Tree by Lizzie Anne Designs. The first sample has some liquid accents on the light bulbs to make them pop up just a bit. You might be able to see it if you click on the picture. I love how the pattern paper matches the tree so well.

My next sample is filled with little gems. Yes ~ I glued gems to each little dot on the tree! I still can't believe I did that ~ LOL!
