Lizzie Anne Designs & the CPS Sketch Challenge

Hello Peeps ~ It's Sunday and I don't usually post a big long thing on this day of the week; however, today Lizzie Anne Designs is sponsoring the CPS weekly sketch so I just had to play along!

So here is the sketch for this week. Now I thought the notch on the left side of the sketch was rather interesting, but rather than cut it out, I made it a hinge for my card.

So here is my version of the sketch.... It's an ice cream gift card holder. You just pull the ribbon forward to open the card.

Birthday Tweets

I have one more card for the Color Throwdown Challenge that I posted about yesterday. I used this lovely paper called Pretty Please by My Mind's Eye along with the Tweet Thang stamp set by Our Craft Lounge. I really love this trim by Maya Road & the fun edge to the card. I used my new On the Edge die from Tim Holts called Brackets.

Color Throwdown Day!

Today is a big day!!!! The Color Throwdown site is celebrating their 100th post today and two of my teams are sponsoring some wonderful prizes for the celebration ~ i{heart}papers & Our Craft Lounge!

So here are the colors for the challenge ~ and don't worry if you don't have these exact colors, anything close will work just fine.

And here is what I came up with for the challenge today! I used a few scrapbooking sets from Our Craft Lounge called Love Notes & Life is. The green color is a little more of an olive than celery, but the red, baja and rose are all in there.

Ever have one of those days...

YESTERDAY was "one of those days"!!!! Mo & Jo totally left the building and I seriously hated everything I put together. In fact, the card shown above is the third or fourth revision ~ I lost track. UGH!

Anyway, I used the weekly sketch challenge for Lizzie Anne Designs and the images are from the July Monthly Mix called Simply Sweet.

Here's hoping I've got some creative juices flowing today! Wish me luck!

Another Day in the Garden

Happy Monday Peeps! We took a few days off last week and went to Cedar Point Wednesday thru Friday, so no stamping for me. This weekend we were catching up around the house and just having fun with friends, so again, no stamping for me. Soooooooo, I thought I would share a few more photographs from my walk through my garden a few weeks ago ~ hope you don't mind. I'll have a new project posted tomorrow.

The Good ol' Red, White and Blue

Hooray...it's time for a CELEBRATION for the U.S.A. I love the 4th of July!!! Here I used the set called Patriotic Parade and covered the sweet teddy bear with Brown Sugar Sparkly Fluff.

A Creative MESS!

I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited about this fun page. When the Lizzie Anne girls showed us this new single image "Creative Mess" a few months ago, I knew I really wanted to make a scrapbook page with it because I seriously explode when I am scrapbooking. The sentiment is PERFECT for me!

So last week when I was creating my Yellowstone mini album, I looked around and saw the mess I was making and decided to take some pictures. However, I must admit, I made a far bigger mess when I made this scrapbook page, I probably should have taken a new picture for this page.

Hi...Butterfly!

Just wanted to share a sweet little card I made using the Tweet Thang set by Our Craft Lounge. I also added some Cotton Candy Pink Sparkly Fluff to the light pink on the flowers and butterfly.

Big Fuzzy Monster Fun!

I've been wanting to play with this image ever since I got the set a few months ago. I think these little monsters are so stinkin' cute! The image and sentiment are both from the Little Monsters Sixlet set by Lizzie Anne Designs.


After I colored the monster, I added some Juicy Orange Sparkly Fluff to the dots and some Glossy Accents to the teeth and eye ~ too fun!
