I have TWO cards to share today. The first one uses the set from the Stamp TV kit called The Simple Things and the set name is Bounty of Blessings. The Stamp TV kit includes everything I used on this card (except the ink and markers).
My 2nd card uses the pumpkins from the Always Autumn stamp set. Continue below to see how I colored them.
I selected the TN6 & TN4 markers for a rich brownish-orange look.
I started with the TN6 (my darkest tone) and added it on the edges of my first pumpkin and on the shading lines.
Next, I added the TN4, slightly overlapping. Remember to work in small areas so the ink stays wet and blends better.
Next, I used the OR2 to get more orange in the pumpkin.
I added the TN3 for a bit of tan/gold.
Then I added some GB6 & OR1 for the center of the pumpkin.
Next I added a bit more depth of color by adding some Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils (92, 89, 22, 18) and blended the pencils with Gamsol blending solution and paper stumps.
Here's a close up of the first pumpkin.
When coloring the second pumpkin, I did the darker shades on both outside edges and worked toward the center with the lighter colors.
For the stems, I used TN4, TN7 markers and 94, 96 Blendable Colored Pencils.
And here are my finished pumpkins ~ up close.
