Hi Friends! I'm super excited to share a new project I'm working on this month... December Daily 2016! Each day of the month, I am documenting the "Holiday Happenings" of our family. Well, some days activities may not be holiday related, but you get the jist of it.
On Black Friday, I purchased the Ali Edwards December Daily Kit from 2015 & I've pulled out a bunch of things from my stash as well. I'll primarily be working with these supplies for the entire album.
Cover Page: I used one of the transparent pages that has white type on it. Then I added the white tree and added some twine and a rhinestone to it. Then I added a red cardstock banner behind the "December Daily" rubber embellishment. The final touch, I added block sticker numbers for the year.

Inside Cover/Day #1: For the other side of the transparent page, I decided to add a red felt snowflake (by Stampin' Up from my stash) to cover up the adhesive I used to attach the tree on the cover page. I also stamped the sentiment from the Kelly Purkey Good Cheer Version 2 stamp set on the red cardstock banner & placed that in the same spot as I did on the cover page. Then I added the same letter/number stickers for "Day 1" . I like that the adhesive is covered up ... it's a cleaner look.
For "the reason why" page, I downloaded the title from a free download on the Ali Edwards Blog & then typed my letter for why I decided to do a December Daily this year.
Day #2: I apologize up front for the lousy photo on this one, but the close ups below are better. The full page is from the AE kit & the other pieces are from the Jasmine Jones 2015 mini kit. It sold out but I've linked the digital kit.
The "december" and the stars were printed on the page. I added the chipboard "no. 2" and the gold heart.I added a "2" that was die cut with gold cardstock and typed my journaling on the computer. Then added a gold chipboard heart to the "together" card. Easy Peasy!
great cover and beginning to your daily!
