Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day #2: More Christmas Joy!

Hello Friends!  Are you ready for Day #2 of the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks?   Well I hope so because the TE Designers have more fun Christmas projects to share with you!!!

I love die cut words so the new Joy Script will be tons of fun to play with on my projects.  For my first card, I paired it up with the fabulous new Woodgrain Background Stamp, the Holiday Florals stamp set, Holiday Florals dies and a some of the new patterned paper from the 6x6 Playful Patterns Holiday paper pack.   I also used several of the amazing TE Inks {see the list below}.

Supplies for Rustic Joy Card:

First I trimmed the Merry Christmas Cutting Plate with the TE Buttercream cardstock.  Then using the Ranger Ink Blending Tool, I added Gold Delicata Ink to the "Merry Christmas" and some of the berries on the die cut image.  Using the same technique, I added different shades of TE Ink to the various areas of the die {see color links below}.  There was a little overlap of colors, but I love the effect of this technique.  I added another piece of Buttercream Cardstock behind the inked die cut and then a Chocolate Truffle card base.

  2. I wasn't sure if I really wanted the cutting plate until I saw your second card. You really made it pop with the different colors and the gold inked center! Great job on both cards.
