My card today features the stamp set called French Flair stamp set by Theresa Momber. Wow ~ there are so many gorgeous images in this set. The card I made is actually a tag inside a pocket ... here it is put together.
Here are the pieces shown separately.
Keep scrolling down to see how I colored the grapes with my Spectrum Aqua Markers.
Keep scrolling down to see how I colored the grapes with my Spectrum Aqua Markers.
Step 1: Stamp the images in Gold Pigment ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Step 2: Select color palette. Using my Spectrum Aqua Markers, I selected Wildflower, Orchid, Olive & Moss.
Step 3: Starting with the lightest purple (Wildflower), add color from the marker to a paint palette & use a waterbrush to add color to each grape. If color is very watery, use a heat tool to help it dry faster.
Step 4: Next add a dab of the darker color purple (Orchid) with the waterbrush and blend with the Wildflower.
Step 5: Using the brush tip of the marker, add a dot of Orchid to each grape.
Step 6: Lightly blend the colors together and then while it is still wet, dab with a paper towel or a tissue to remove the excess color.
Step 7: Add Olive ink to the leaves using a waterbrush.
Step 8: Add Moss ink directly from the marker and then blend with the waterbrush.
Step 9: Add Chocolate ink directly from the marker pen tip to the stem of the grapes. Repeat the same process for the other bunch of grapes. Trim with scissors & add to your project.
