For my card today, I used the new Flowers & Frames Stamp TV kit along with the Fancy Frames Die Set 1. I also used my lovely Spectrum Aqua Markers for this card and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the result!
Here's how I made my card:
Step 1: Stamp frame in white pigment ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Trim frame with coordinating die.
Step 2: Using a plastic paint pallet, scribble some ink from the Spectrum Aqua into one of the wells. I used Navy in the photo below. Then add the color to the frame with a Water Brush.
Step 3: Continue adding ink until you achieve the desired look. The white embossing will pop out beautifully.
Step 4: Attach flower stamps to the acrylic stamping block and add color from marker to the stamp images. Spectrum Aqua Navy is the ink I selected below.
Step 5: After applying the Spectrum Aqua Navy to the base of the flower, add a lighter shade of blue (Aquamarine) to the rest of the flower and green (Moss) to the stems.
Step 6: Spray a light water mist on watercolor paper and then stamp the image on the paper. Using the Water Brush, carefully blend the ink until you achieve the desired look.
Step 7: Using the circle die from the Fancy Frames Die set, trim the flower image and it will set perfectly inside the frame.
And here is a second card I made where I didn't blend the colors with a water brush. I simply sprayed the watercolor paper with water and then stamped the flowers to the paper.
