Crafter's Companion: HSN Tall Gift Bag

Hi Friends!  Yesterday, Sara Davies from Crafter's Companion did multiple segments on the Home Shopping Network (HSN).  The US Design Team created dozens of projects for the various segments and today I have another project that I contributed.

This tall gift bag features the fabulous The Big Score along with the 12"x 18" Indulgence Double Sided Paper Pack (HSN Exclusive).

Pictured below is the 12" x 18" scoring template I used for the gift bag and it is super easy to make!

Step 1: Place the 12" side along the left side of The Big Score, scored the cardstock at 7 1/2".

Step 2: Flip the paper around to the other short side and score at 7 1/2"

Step 3: Place the 18" side of the cardstock along the left side of The Big Score, score at 3" and 9" all the way down the cardstock.

Step 4: Using scissors, trim the flaps (as shown in the photo below) and fold/burnish all of the score marks.

Step 5: Add a strong adhesive on the small middle pieces and one of the long pieces on each side.  Then simply fold the sides of the gift bag together lining up the edges to the score marks on the other long flaps.

Step 6: Add a handle, ribbon and embellishments.
