Hi Peeps! Today I'm excited about the new release that Crafter's Companion has coming out. There are 4 fabulous stamp sets for the Vintage Christmas collection, along with 11 embossing folders, a 6x6 paper pack and a CD-ROM that includes hundreds of pattern papers and matching elements. Whew! That's a lot of great stuff!
For my card today, I used one of the sentiments from the Vintage Christmas Collection called Let It Snow, colored it with my Spectrum Noir PL1 marker and then sprayed some Sheer Shimmer Spritz (Frost). The mat I cut behind the sentiment is from the new Die'sire Die Cut called Waltz Frame. {Directions for my background are below}

Here's how I made my background:
- I started with a piece of Glossy cardstock and trimmed it to 4" x 5.25".
- Next, I inked up a few snowflakes from the Stamp-It Australia collection (Falling Snowflake & Believe) with Memento Luxe Wedding Dress White ink and stamped them all over the Glossy cardstock. Then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
- Next I took PL2 and PL4 Spectrum Noir Ink Refills and using the ink refill droppers, I randomly added drops of ink all over the paper.
- Using a piece of felt on an applicator, I added some Spectrum Noir Blender Refill on the felt and lightly dabbed it on the ink droplets until I had the look I wanted. I dabbed a bit more on the snowflakes so more of the ink would come off.
- After it was dry, I sprayed it with some Sheer Shimmer Spritz (Frost) for some sparkly fun.
