Vacation Adventures in Pisa & Florence!

 Our vacation adventures continued in Italy with visits to both Pisa and then Florence later that same day.  The weather was absolutely perfect with gorgeous blue sky.  Although it doesn't look like it is leaning too much in this photo, it actually does in fact lean.

It wasn't super busy in Pisa ... yet; however, getting a good family photo was a bit of a challenge.

Next we drove to Florence and our guide took us to the best spot to see the beautiful city of Florence!  STUNNING!

Then we were able to go see The David by Michelangelo located in the Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze.  He sculpted it from 1501 to 1504 out of Carrara marble.

A stop for a fabulous lunch in a great little local restaurant ~ lots of locals which means the best food!
