Taylored Expressions: Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy Hop Day!!!  The Taylored Expressions Baker's Dozen & Key Ingredients designers are all hopping along today to bring you the April Key Ingredients Kit and Stamp of the Month set.  The set is called Made with Love & the coordinating die set is called Stitched with Love.

Here how I made my card today...

  • I used the navy cardstock as my card base and then trimmed dark and light coral panels (all from the Key Ingredients kit).
  • Next, I stamped the stitching image with a coral color Palette ink for the background on the light coral.
  • I added a piece of the pretty pattern paper (also included in the Key Ingredients kit) to the bottom of the card and then trimmed out a coordinating piece with my Labels Stacklet 8 dies for my main image and a navy piece with the Labels Stacklet 2 ~ and I embossed that one for a bit of texture.
  • For my main image, I stamped the sewing machine image with the coral color ink and then trimmed it with the coordinating die from the Stitched with Love die set.
  • Next, I trimmed out some buttons from the Stitched with Love die set for an embellishment and added a few bits of twine... because I hate naked buttons ~ lol.
  • Both the "SEW" and the "happy" are part of the Stamp of the Month set Made with Love, so I stamped it in a navy and coral and then trimmed it using the Bloomin' Stacklet 2 die set.
  • As a final touch, I added navy trim using the Ric Rac Border & then added a few gems that were included in the Key Ingredients kit.

See how easy that was!!!!  You can find all of the info about the various Key Ingredients options HERE on the Taylored Expressions website.

The Baker's Dozen and Key Ingredients Designers have made some fabulous cards today to share for the blog hop, so go take a peek and leave some love along the way!
