Gourmet Rubber Stamps Diners Set...Old Fashion Fun!

Happy 1st of July ~ that means it's time for a look at the latest Diners Set.  This month's set is called Old Fashioned Fun ~ super fun!!  When I saw the set, I knew I wanted to use the Root Beer images & immediately started thinking of ideas for a recipe card and decorated Root Beer bottles.  

Here's a close up of the bottles.  If you like just the root beer images, you can find these two images paired together for i{heart}papers ~ this custom mini set is called Root Beer.

And here's a super easy peasy recipe for homemade Root Beer.

I decided to put together a quick tutorial on coloring a solid stamp with two colors...
First, ink up the stamp in the primary color (brown in this case).

Next, take a Q-Tip & get it wet.  Then remove the ink from the words Root Beer.

Next, take a water base marker and color the words Root Beer.
NOTE: DO NOT USE A COPIC MARKER ~ or any other alcohol based marker for this step. 

Blow on the ink

STAMP! ~ perfect!!!
