IHP Challenge Day... Product Spotlight

It's time for the monthly i{heart}papers monthly DT challenge.  Today we are all spotlighting Tsukineko Fireworks Shimmer Spray on our projects.  They come in 24 pretty colors and the shades will vary slightly based on what color you spray it on.  You can also get lots of different looks using the shimmer sprays & they are pretty sparkly. 


I used the Hero Arts set Butterflies & Wildflowers along with the pretty sentiment from Comforting Florals (Market Street Stamps).  I stamped them first in Burnt Umber Palette ink on a piece of confetti cream cardstock.  Then I sprayed the Fireworks Shimmer Spray over the entire piece.  Not sure if you can see all the shimmer on this card ~ it's super pretty in real life.


With any type of spray product, it's best to take it outside or spray it inside a box because of the over spray.  I let mine dry for about 10 minutes and then used my heat gun on it to hurry the process along ~ I'm a bit impatient and the heat gun worked great!

    Great idea to make a background for your card. Love how this turned out!! I should definitely spray inside a box next time- I even went outside and STILL got messy. LOL

    Lovely card. I like the color combo you created, and the fireworks effects. Greta texture with the lace, button and twine. wonderful embossing and scallop edge. thank you for sharing.
