IHP Challenge: Lights All Aglow
It's that time again ~ the i{heart}papers monthly design team challenge. This month the theme is Lights All Aglow & I can't wait to see what everyone on the team came up with. I went shopping for a little inspiration and found these pretty tea light candle holders at Michael's and since I was working with paper, I decided to purchase some flame-less tea light candles as well. I'm not much of a candle person because I'm terrible about remembering I have them lit ~ therefore, the flame-less candles are perfect for me!
I used one of the pretty patterns in the paper stack from Basic Grey's Jovial Christmas line. I used it on the snowflakes (from my Cricut) and on the coaster mats for the candles. For the coaster mats, I used my Eyelet & Classic Circle Nestabilities. And then for the finishing touches I added the beautiful Pom Pom Trim on each candle holder from Maya Roads. I just attached it to the glass globes with the i{stick}papers redline tape. And the final little detail was to add a Zva Creations pearl accent on the center of each snowflake. All in all, it was a pretty fast project, but I think the result turned out really pretty!
Now make sure you go see what all the other girls created for this fun challenge!
