My Yearly Calendar Project

Scroll down to post #1 of the day for my OCL Blog Candy Winner.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far. I'll be stuck in a gym all day today and part of tomorrow for volleyball and basketball ~ but I'm not complaining. I love watching my daughter play sport.

Today I wanted to show you my calendar project for 2010. I decided to try and make it easier on myself this year and bought a digi calendar kit over at Scrap Matters. This cute kit was only $5.95 and is super easy to use in Photoshop Elements (PSE).

The calendar is actually set up to print the size of a CD case; however, I enlarged it by 50% so grandma and grandpa would be able to read it a bit easier. The other things I added were titles and important dates by using the Text feature in PSE. I did a custom calendar for each side of the family and it was so easy to move pictures and text around.

After I printed the pages, I attached them to coordinating cardstock that I stamped with images from Lizzie Anne Designs. Then I stamped a colored dot on each important date so they would pop out at ya. To finish it off I simply punched a hole at the top of each page and threaded a ribbon through it. VOILA ~ done in one night!

Hope you enjoyed seeing this year's edition!

Supplies: Digital Calendar kit ~ Scrap Matters; Ink ~ Versamark; Stamps ~ Lizzie Anne Designs; Ribbon ~ May Arts; Font ~ CK Becky.
