These stamps are so amazingly easy to use, but I'll have more on that tomorrow with another project I have to show you. Right now I want to show you this super fun card I came up with ~ it's probably not a new idea, but I've never done a layout like this before. If you notice the top picture, there is a brad holding the card flap down. There is a better shot below on how the card opens.
The beveled edge paper was actually super easy to do ~ I just put a stripe piece of pattern paper on the card base and then cut a strip going the opposite direction and cut the corners of the 2nd piece. Then to cover it up, just put cardstock over the top. Hmmmm...that probably wasn't too clear. Tell ya what... I'll take some pictures & post them later on.
adorable! That paper is perfect with that cake image!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I just picked up some new Inque Boutique stamps today--woohoo, I found them at my Hobby Lobby! I can't wait to play with them...love the different design of the smaller top flap on your card. Definitely an awesome touch. Please stop by my newly created blog...Have a fun weekend! :)
