Finishing Up 2018 OLW ~ {Embrace}

I'm so excited to share the rest of my One Little Word pages for 2018.
This year, my album was a labor of love...
my year was challenging, but I am blessed.

 The September prompt was all about the stories I tell myself ... true or not

During October, Ali challenged us find song titles or quotes ... I loved this one!

For November's prompt,
I wrote a letter to myself about
my 2018 journey

and finally, in December, I wrapped up my final thoughts
and how I felt the year of {embrace} went.

I'm looking forward to starting my new OLW tomorrow!

Project 52 ~ Week #37 to #44

Hello Friends!  I'm not sure why, but this fall really got away from me & I really didn't craft that much. I kept up with these Project Life App pages as the weeks passed by, but I didn't do much else. Sorry about the long absence ... my goal is to get back at it in 2019.  So I thought I would share a bunch with you today & I'll finish up the year in another post very soon.

Project 52 ~ Week #34 to #36

Hey there friends!  I'm back with a few more Project 52 pages for the last three weeks. My schedule seems to be either completely crazy or absolutely nothing to do... I really can't get used to that.

For Week #34, I used the Rad Kit in the Project Life App.

For week #35, I used the Wander kit and the Project 12 - September Kit

For Week #36, I used the Project 12 - September kit with overlays from Just Add Color.

Have a Fantastic Day!

Marching Band ~ More Pocket Pages!

Happy Friday!  I was looking through my blog the other day and noticed this post in my drafts folder & realized I never finished up posting my son's band pages from Junior year. And... I still have all of Senior year to share as well. I guess I should get busy!

For these pages, I used an assortment of supplies from various kits I had on hand ~ Ali Edwards story kits, Hip Kit Club, Elle's Studio, and Felicity Jane.

Taylored Expressions 10th Birthday Mega Party!

Back in 2014, I was asked to join the Taylored Expressions Bakers Dozen Team and I had the pleasure of working on that team for 3 years.  Today I am thrilled to be part of the Designer Reunion 10th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop along with over 40 other past & present designers.  WOW ~ that's a lot of awesomeness right there! You can find a complete list of the designers over on the Taylored Expressions Blog! Taylor has tons of fun things in store for you this week, so make sure you check out all the details.

This week Taylored Expressions is releasing lots of fun new products and you can find them all in the store under the NEW Category. However, TE also has tons of wonderful previously released products, and for my birthday card today, I used the Tropical Trio Stamp & Die Combo set. I also used some of the beautiful new cardstock colors ~ Blue Raspberry, Pineapple, and Lime Zest. {I have a full list of supplies with links listed below}

I took a little trip down memory lane and looked at my TE Gallery... WOW ~ lots of my favorite projects are in there!  Click HERE to take a peek at my past TE projects.

Share Joy Campaign

At the heart of Taylored Expressions is a mission to share joy through the gift of handmade cards. As part of their 10th birthday, TE is continuing that mission with the launch of a special Share Joy campaign focused on providing birthday cards to those in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities across the U.S. To make as deep an impact as possible, TE is inviting card makers everywhere to join the campaign. Will you join us? Find out how to participate by viewing their Share Joy Page.

One Little Word ~ July & August Prompts

Hello My Friends!

Today I'm sharing my One Little Word Prompts for July & August. These prompts were challenging because I've had some struggles with my journey this year. It's been such a big year of change for our family & even though you know it's coming, it's still hard. I've included a lot of "this is where my heart is" stuff in these pages.

One Little Word ~ April, May & June

Hello There!

I looked at my One Little Word label of my blog and realized I hadn't posted any pages since my March prompt. I am so happy with how this album is coming out this year. I am being very intentional about sticking with the same colors and doing minimal pages for each month.

For April, the prompt was the Post-It challenge. Putting questions on post-it notes and placing them where you will see them each day. I transferred my questions to these fun stitched circles and added my answers on the Reflections card.

During the month of May, we were prompted to take 8 photos from the month and document the moments. It was a great month for that since both kids were graduating and moving on to their summer adventures. There were lots of activities going on!

For the month of June, the prompt was all about documenting how the project is progressing with our word so far this year. June was a hard month for me with lots of ups and downs... so my thoughts and reflections were all based on those feelings. It is what it is... sometimes it just isn't fun & that's what this project is all about.

Have a Wonderful Day!
