Today I have a few more samples from the August Monthly Mix by Lizzie Anne Designs. I love this kit because it has so many great images and sentiments all mixed up together!
My first project uses the pretty little butterfly in the set, but I'm bummed because I added some glitter to it and it didn't photograph at all. You'll have to take my word for it...
As you can tell from all my cards and projects, I really love my edge punches and my embossing folders from Cuttlebug. I've paired them up on this card to give some texture to the brown edge and yet a different texture to the left edge of the card. I also used some white ink over the embossed edge so it would pop up a bit.

What a find...
I was going through some things in my studio last night and found some supplies that I had set aside a few months ago when I was working on a big project. Guess what I found? This adorable little set from My Cute Stamps called Sweet Chocolate! I had tons of other things I needed to work on, but I was thrilled to find it so I had to use it.
On my first project today, I used my new box die from Stampin' Up! The box went together very easily and I just filled the bag with yummy milk chocolate chips! Although you can't see it in the picture, I used some Glossy Accents on the cherries and some glitter on the heart (on the tag).
On my next project, I used some Rockin' Pink Sparkly Fluff by Our Craft Lounge on the ice cream. Doesn't that look YUMMY?On my first project today, I used my new box die from Stampin' Up! Gift Card/Money Holder...
Today's project uses this adorable purse from the August Monthly Mix by Lizzie Anne Designs. When I saw this image, I knew it needed some funky paper & I think this is perfect!
The finished enclosure is approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" & uses a basic grey magnet to keep it closed. And the last picture shows the gift card/cash holder opened up.
I didn't use a template, just kind of made it up myself. It uses a half sheet of cardstock and 4 different patterns of coordinating paper (from SEI).
Supplies Used: Stamps ~ Lizzie Anne Designs (August Monthly Mix), Hero Arts Alphabet; Cardstock ~ SU, PTI; Pattern Paper ~ SEI; Ink ~ Palette, Copics; Edge Punch ~ SU; Glassy Accents.

LAD Sketch #89
I came up with another sketch this week for the Lizzie Anne Weekly Sketch. I had it pictured in my head and when I stamped it out, it was exactly how I wanted it {fyi - that doesn't happen very often}. I used the Lizzie Anne Designs Monthly Mix for August called Hey Sunshine. I LOVE that set! If you haven't signed up for it, check out the website so you can get free shipping on the first kit.

Blue Lotus Blossoms...
The other day I found some old card kits that I hadn't put together. I no longer had the images that I originally used on the cards, so I decided to adapt the layout and images. I think it turned out cool! This image is from the Magnificant Asian Backgrounds set by Simon Says Stamp. I watercolored the flowers in a light blue ink and then added a darker blue Copic on the edges. I also used my clear glitter pen to bring the flower to life a bit.
Hope you have a great Monday! I've been working like crazy on projects the last few weeks. I can't wait to show them all to you! Ta-Ta for now!

Lizzie Anne Sneak Peeks ~ Final Day!
Well it's the final day of sneak peeks and TOMORROW is the big day for the release. It's been such a fun week of projects.
My first project today is with the Love and Joy Labels set ~ however, I didn't do a label! I love all the images in this set! I used the piece of clear plastic that came with my stamp set & cut it out with my label die. Then I embossed it in my Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder & backed it with a piece of red cardstock to make it POP! I thought it turned out kinda of cool!
My next card is actually a CASE from the new SU catalog ~ but tweeked. On this project, I used the new set called Oh Christmas Tree! So here is the cover...

Woohoo ~ New Stamps at Lizzie Anne Designs!
That means it's one of my favorite times of the year! As a designer ~ it's like Christmas every time the mail comes because there's gonna be fun stuff inside!
The first set being shown today is called The Great Outdoors and I really loved playing with it! I put together this fun S'more mix with Golden Grahams cereal, milk chocolate chips and mini marshmallows ~ it's yummy and SUPER easy! Along with this cute stamp set is also a matching Digital Paper Pack ~ Lizzie Anne has great papers!
For my project, along the bottom of the bag, I stamped the marshmallow sticks and colored them with my Copics and my white pen. Then I used the S'more stamp on the tag and added some glitter to the marshmallow for a bit of bling.
The next set is being shown today is called Cute as a Bug and I love this one too! I was so excited with how this hanging door tag turned out. I added gems and glitter to the bugs to make them really POP off the tag.
My last project for today uses the Cute as a Bug set and one printed paper from the matching Digital Paper Pack. There are 12 adorable prints and solids in this pack.
To see all the images in the sets and the digital paper packs ~ go take a look at the Lizzie Anne Blog! Everything will go on sale this Saturday, July 25th!

Yippee Skippy!
It's here, it's here, it's here!!!! I got my Monthly Mix yesterday from Lizzie Anne Designs & I couldn't be more thrilled with it! I sat down and made 3 cards last night (and stayed up way too late) ~ but it was so fun!
So here's the first card I made ~ or should I say RE-MADE! At the very end, I totally messed up the sentiment ~why oh why didn't I use a Stamp-a-ma-jig? Oh well! I liked the card so much, I ripped it apart and did it all again.

Here's a great card for the man in your life. I was super happy when I finished this card. I just like how simple it is & the colors I ended up using. I don't normally put these three colors together, but this works for me. I used the cute set from Our Craft Lounge called Bring on the BBQ. It's actually the Spotlight Set of the Week over on the OCL forums, so go take a look.
