Hippity Hoppity...Easter is Coming!

SUNDAY is EASTER! How did that happen???? I looked in my computer files and realized that I have lots of Easter Projects that I haven't shared yet. OH MY ~ Easter just hippity hopped closer and closer and I almost forgot to share this stuff so I'd better get to it.

All of my project today are from the most adorable Easter set EVER called Hippity Hoppity by Our Craft Lounge.

Who wouldn't love hunting for this fun Easter basket? Did you have to hunt for your basket when you were little? I remember my mom ~ I mean the Easter Bunny ~ was very creative when it came to finding hiding spots.

OK ~ Now don't laugh at this crude little carrot box. I was trying to copy a die cut that I saw online and did this free hand. It came out kind of silly & probably won't be making this again! LOL!

Have a great day!

Simple Elegance

Good Morning and welcome to a new week. I worked hard all weekend on store displays and managed to get 180 cards finished and ready to mail today. I am so relieved to have that huge job finished! I am also ready to start being creative again and not just do repetitive work. I'll be sharing the cards I made with you very soon.

But today, I want to show you something I made last week with my April Monthly Mix from Lizzie Anne Designs. I really love this image of the Lilly of the Valley with the pattern paper from American Crafts.

And I decided to decorate the inside of the card as well with the single stamp called With Sympathy.

Hope your Monday is fabulous!

Make sure you go look at the OCL Blog to see the sketch and the AMAZING card by Cindy Lawrence ~ WOW! She is my BFF Roomie from CHA and I just love that girl! Easter Treats & Something SWEET!

Easter will be here very, very soon! I've been wanting to make a few treats and decorations and finally forced myself to sit down and do it! {HINT ~ read ALL THE WAY to the end of my post}

Here are some cute little egg holders with coordinating ribbon. I used my Lizzie Anne Designs March Monthly Mix (Lucky You) to decorate the holders & the matching card.

And here is the little Easter card to match.

I love these M&M carrots! Just take some icing bags, fill them with orange M&Ms (from the bulk food section at the grocery store), tie them closed with green ribbon, and cut off the top with pinking sheers. Easy Peasy!

Guess what today is????? Is the 3 year anniversary of my blog & I think that calls for some BLOG CANDY! It's been a very long time, so I think I'll give away something fun today. Just leave me a message anywhere on my blog before Saturday, March 27th at midnight (eastern time) & I'll pick a random winner and send a nice little surpise to you. Oh...but make sure you leave contact information. If I can't contact you, I'll have to pick someone else.

Enjoy your day!

Sunny Days Are HERE!

Are you seeing the sun a bit more these days? I sure hope so! Yesterday, I saw buds on the trees for the first time. They aren't green just yet, but they will be very soon! Look what is in my yard. It's a sure sign of spring!

Both of my projects today feature the adorable new set from Our Craft Lounge called Sunshine Cheer!

I love all the different sentiments you can build with this great set! I made both of these cards for the February and March retail display boards for OCL. I think I ended up making about 40 of each (along with one other card).

Have a Sunshiney Day!

Unity Sketch Challenge

I've been going crazy with sketches lately huh? Well yesterday I found a scrapbook sketch challenge on the Unity Stamps Blog and, eventhough I didn't really have time for it, I just couldn't pass it up! I love using my Unity Stamps for scrapbooking because of all the great journaling blocks, scrolls and cool border stamps. I just wish I could do pages more often... ahhh... so many products, so little time.

Anyway, this is what I came up with for Simple Scrapbook Challenge #1 ...

I used 3 different Unity sets on this page ~ the November '09 Store Kit of the Month, This is the Time, and the July '09 Kit of the Month (It's the Little Things). I also used this gorgeous paper from My Mind's Eye from the Hello Beautiful page kit.

Supplies from i{heart}papers: Stamps ~ Unity Stamp Co (This is the Time); Pattern paper ~ MME (Hello Beautiful); Ink ~ Palette; Nestabilities.

It's another Lizzie Anne Sketch Challenge...

This week it was my turn to come up with the Lizzie Anne Sketch for our challenge. I really love doing sketches & I hope this one isn't too complicated. If so, maybe once you see my card below, it will be a bit more clear on where I was going with the sketch. The extra challenge this week is to use 2 coordinating pattern papers.

I used my Things that Go set along with this super cute sentiment from the Sixlet set called Card Quotations.

I'd love to see what you come up with for the sketch ~ add your link over on Lizzie Anne Land so we can see it.

My next Easter card uses the Easter Blessings sentiment.

Hope your Sunday is going well ~ I'll see you tomorrow for a new Lizzie Anne Sketch Challenge.

Unity Meets SEI in a Sketch!

When my Unity Stamps met up with my SEI products last night, I was pretty happy with the results! I have been very eager to play with all of these new supplies from CHA. Kate from i{heart}papers ordered this gorgeous stamps set just for me called Best Wishes and Blooms. I can't wait to use the rest of the beautiful flowers in the set ~ YUMMY!

The beautiful SEI papers are from the Clarie Collection & look at the yummy matching button. Kate had them handmade exclusively for i{heart}papers. You can buy the matching Clarie buttons separately or with the paper pack.

As I mentioned in the title of my post, I also played along in a sketch challenge (IHC031210) for the i{heart}Copics group over on Paper Craft Planet. I didn't use the color pallet they suggested because I had my heart set on using my Unity & SEI supplies, but that's ok ~ it's all for fun.

Supplies from i{heart}papers: Stamps ~ Unity (Best Wishes & Bloom); Pattern Paper & Handmade Button ~ SEI (Claire Collection); Ink ~ Palette, Copic Markers (G14, E19, E44, YR04, E08, YR02, YR61); Nestabilties.

IHP Monthly Challenge Day

Hello Peeps! It's challenge day once again for the i{heart}papers design team. Each month Deb (our challenge coordinator) picks something new for us to do. This month was a sketch from Paper Craft Planet & we needed to GO GREEN (as in recycle). We could also use the color green if we wanted to. WOW ~ this was quite the challenge! So here is the the PCP sketch ~

And here is my cool card using the sketch, some recycled cardboard & the color green ~ Whew! So this funky tree is from the new Unity Store Kit of the Month called Adventures in Happiness & I also used Best Wishes & Blooms for the sentiment. I can't wait to use the rest of this set though. I also used this yummy new paper from My Minds Eye called Little Miss Muffet's Isn't She Lovely Kit. And I can't wait to use the rest of that kit too!

For my project today, I decided to use the simple solid flower stamp has about a million possibilities & I love it. I paired the image with some yummy pattern papers that I found at our new local scrapbook store called Pages in Time Forever in Mishawaka, IN. Both of the papers on this card are from Jillibean Soup & they are super cute!

A Bunny in the Garden

Hello Peeps ~ It's Sunday! Hope your weekend has been wonderful. Mine has been great! My hubby is home from a 12 day trip to China and South Korea; Friday night I did a Sparkly Fluff demo at our newly opened scrapbook store (Pages in Time Forever ~ Mishawaka, IN) and today I went shopping with my 13 year old daughter & we had a blast. Can't get much better than that.

On with my project for today ~ I used a fun new set from Our Craft Lounge called Hoppin' Into Spring and instead of having the Easter eggs in basket, I added a little beet to the basket. I paired my images used the new Garden Variety pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket. I like the 6x6 paper pads because the patterns are scaled down for cards.

I also stamped some images on the inside of the sweet spring card.

Supplies from i{heart}papers: Stamps ~ Our Craft Lounge (Hoppin' Into Spring); Pattern Paper ~ Cosmo Cricket (Garden Variety); Ink ~ Palette, Copic Markers.
